The phrase "Viva La Femme" lives boldly on our tees and sweaters — but its meaning stretches far beyond cotton and ink.
When I first designed this piece, it was a love letter to womanhood. To the resilience, softness, rage, grace, power, and contradictions we live with every day. It was a way to honor the many women who shaped me and continue to inspire the way I design. But what I've learned since launching it is this: 'Viva La Femme' doesn't belong to me anymore.
It belongs to the women who wear it.
Over time, customers have sent me the most moving notes, photos, and DMs about what this piece means to them. Some wore it on big days — job interviews, gallery shows, dates with themselves. Others said it made them feel brave, grounded, or simply seen.
Here's what you had to say.....
"Every time I wear this sweater, someone stops me. It starts conversations I didn't know I needed."
"It's soft armor. I put it on when I need a reminder that my voice matters."
"My daughter saw me in it and said, 'Mama, that's a powerful shirt.' I almost cried."
Whether you're loud or quiet, strong or still becoming, femme in your own way or not at all, this piece was always meant to hold space for you.
So tell me: what does Viva La Femme mean to you?
